Conflict Risks and Mitigations
As AI capabilities accelerate, so does the risk of dangerous arms races between major powers, races that could spiral into the most consequential conflicts in human history. This talk examines what decades of nuclear deterrence theory, arms control, and real-world crises can teach us about preventing catastrophic escalation in AI competition, and offers pragmatic directions for keeping the peace.
